Elizabeth,

What an amazing story about the Luna Moth! I love what you created and have it hanging in a place of honor in my studio.

Thank you so much!

Fall Greetings Elizabeth and thank you for sharing your flavors of summer with us. Your Luna Moth story and poem is magnificent. I have this large chartreuse moth that I found somewhere in my travels. It is not living, but is still quite beautiful and now I am wondering if it might be a Luna Moth, so I am now going to check my field guides too. Thyme is such a wonderful herb. I planted it for the first time last summer and it wintered over and I still have this gorgeous lush Thyme bush for my kitchen. Try simmering some of those leaves in butter or olive oil and adding them to soups. It is particularly good in squash soup. You will just be amazed at how good delicious it is.

As you can tell from the photo, the quality of light has changed. The air feels cool today, but it is still quite sunny and temps are still a bit high. No fall color yet.

xoxoxo ~ Catherine
