Linda's Delicious Summer Missive arrived just moments ago and after reading it I felt a strong urge to dip into the zucchini bread. As I started to unwrap it I realized that I would first need a few pics! Well here are the photos and the bread was as delicious as it was artfully presented!

Click on the British flag for English. You can zoom in, and it takes a while for that. Hold your cursor over the stations, and it will tell you the name. Click on the one you want, it will tell you the line(s) that go there. Click on your destination station, and a window will come up, telling you which lines, what direction, how long. It is very cool. You can cut and paste the directions into a word document or whatever. You might have to type the line number. On the left side, under the map, there is a pull down list of all the stations, I think the first one is Abbesses. You can use that to find the different stations instead of holding your cursor over them. It takes a little while to get used to using the site, but once you get the hang of it, it is wonderful. - Airport Transfers: Paris Airport taxi, Airport bus, Metro station Charles de Gaulle and Orly airport

I was very touched that you were able to create such a labor of love, Linda, at a time when you are tending to your mother's needs. Happily, my little honey zucchini cake didn't mold while it waited for me to return from the Oregon coast! What a delectable packet from you, including your beautifully detailed assemblages with such rich colors and textures and delicate parts. The tea and honey sticks will provide sweet comfort, if I can bring myself to disassemble your careful design!

I savoured every single morsel it was delicious! I think we should make it mandatory to include home baked items with all seasonal mailings. Thank you Linda for including The Keeper of the Nest in your card design. I love every last detail, from the little bluebird charm to the bee wax seal, to the stitching and trims. Now if I can just find a way to take Lisa's Solder Alchemy . . .
