Rue Daguerre (14th, M° Denfert-Rochereau). Traditional market street, open Tuesday through Sunday, with open food market stalls on Sunday.

Click on the British flag for English. You can zoom in, and it takes a while for that. Hold your cursor over the stations, and it will tell you the name. Click on the one you want, it will tell you the line(s) that go there. Click on your destination station, and a window will come up, telling you which lines, what direction, how long. It is very cool. You can cut and paste the directions into a word document or whatever. You might have to type the line number. On the left side, under the map, there is a pull down list of all the stations, I think the first one is Abbesses. You can use that to find the different stations instead of holding your cursor over them. It takes a little while to get used to using the site, but once you get the hang of it, it is wonderful. - Airport Transfers: Paris Airport taxi, Airport bus, Metro station Charles de Gaulle and Orly airport

This is the largest flea market in Paris, and though it is not on our itinerary, but you may want to visit on your own!

The Clignancourt is not known for bargains. The booths are permanent and vendors well organized and know the value of their wares.
(Note, the Clignancourt begins after you go under the overpass (Peripherique), though you will see a lot of flea market like booths, this is not the real Clignancourt.)
The Clignancourt is comprised of 12 separate markets. (See the Map under Other Paris Links for the names and locations of each of the individual markets.) Each market offering different items. For instance, the Vernaison & Paul Bert are known for small everyday and rustic items. There are 250 stalls in Vernaison alone! Vernaison is the oldest and most charming according to The Flea Markets of Paris guide. It's in an open-air, triangular space bordered by rue de Rosiers, rue Voltaire, and ave. Michelet.
Serepette & Biron is known for large items such as furniture.
Malassis is known for modern & institutional items.
